Prospecting – Lifeblood of Network Marketing Business

Ang topic na ittackle natin ngayon ay isa sa mga pinakaimportanteng aspeto ng ating Network Marketing / MLM Business. And it is the “LIFEBLOOD” of our business na kung hindi natin malalaman ang tungkol dito means that we are putting our business into a deadly pitfall. So ang topic natin ngayon ay tungkol sa “PROSPECTING”.
HOW TO PROSPECT:
PROSPECTING - is the process of identifying or qualifying people, to see if they are right for your product or business opportunity.

QUESTION: “what do you think is the most valuable and important asset in the business of direct selling?”
ANSWER: YOUR NETWORK
PEOPLE MAKE THE PRODUCTS MOVE, WITHOUT PEOPLE THE BUSINESS WILL NOT WORK OR PROGRESS!
FACT: EVERY PERSON WOULD HAVE AT LEAST A NETWORK OF 15,000 PEOPLE.
Biggest Example: FACEBOOK. :)
QUESTION: “how can i build a huge organization when i do not know a lot of people?
ANSWER: IN THE BUSINESS OF DIRECT SELLING OR NETWORKING IT IS NOT ABOUT WHO YOU KNOW BUT WHO THEY KNOW.
“IS YOUR “NET-WORKING” FOR YOU OR ARE YOU PART OF OTHER PEOPLE’S NET WORTH?”

– look at your calling cards, contacts, directory etc,
– in the business of sales your life line is your network.
3 TYPES OF PROSPECT:
1. BRONZE- “buyers” or “product users’. they are interested in trying out the product but may not try out the business.
2. SILVER – “PART-TIME DISTRIBUTORS” weekend warriors, those people who invest time to the business after office hours and during weekends.
3. GOLD – people who are committed, loyal, full-time.
NOTE: Invest majority of your time to gold leaders and invest remaining time to bronze and silver leaders.
PRINCIPLES IN PROSPECTING
1. A BUNCH OF APPLES.
BULOK =ITAPON
HILAW= HINTAYIN MAHINOG
HINOG= KAININ
> we need to select and segregate / separate the good ones from the bad.
mareklamo, negative na prospect = itapon
bad and negative attitude is contagious
UNRIPE PROSPECT = di pa handa, need the right timing, hintayin mo until your prospect is ready
habang hinihintay mo mahinog si prospect ask if gusto niya or ok lang sa kanya iupdate mo siya every now and then. THIS IS NOT A FORCING GAME BUT A WAITING GAME.
RIPE PROSPECTS – atat magjoin, excited, hindi problem ang oras at pera, teachable and dedicated gawin yung business. loyal faithful.
2. 20/80 PARETTO LAW
OUT OF 10 PEOPLE, 8 WILL SAY NO AND 2 WILL SAY YES. BUT THE 2 WILL PRODUCE 80% OF YOUR SALES VOLUME.
– When they say no say “NEXT!”
NEVER GIVE UP! The more people tell you “NO” THE CLOSER YOU GET TO THE PEOPLE WHO WILL SAY YES.
3. WRITE DOWN WHO YOU ALREADY KNOW
>NEVER TRY TO MEMORIZE
SAAN KA KUKUHA NG PROSPECTS MO?
> directory of mobile nos.
> email addresses in your email accounts
> social networking accounts ex. facebook, twitter, multiply, friendster, tumblr, myspace etc.
> calling card collection
> sellers and buyers in social networking sites like adposts and sulit.
> logbooks in your workplace.
tip: try to imagine you’re going to celebrate your birthday and you want to invite as much as you can.
4. NEVER PRE-JUDGE ANYONE
> people you expect to buy will never buy and people you least expect to buy will buy.
>LEAVE NO ONE BEHIND
5. PROSPECTING IS A NUMBERS GAME
GO FOR QUALITY NOT QUANTITY
>it doesn’t matter kung gaano karami bago mong members what matter is how many leaders do you have?
FACT: 80% OF SALES PEOPLE DROP OUT DUE TO LACK OF PROSPECTING ACTIVITY. 40% OF TOP SALES OR VETERAN SALES PEOPLE PLANNED TO QUIT BEFORE THEY BECAME SUCCESSFUL.
THE LIFEBLOOD OF YOUR BUSINESS IS NEW PROSPECTS.
6. ADD TO YOUR LIST EVERYDAY.
– ADD TO YOUR LIST ON A DAILY OR WEEKLY BASIS.
– wag kang madiscourage if some of your members become inactive. Part ito ng business, pero GOOD NEWS because you have the opportunity to meet new people everyday.
PROSPECTING IS THE LIFEBLOOD OF THIS BUSINESS!!
PROSPECT! PROSPECT! PROSPECT! NEVER STOP ADDING TO YOUR LIST!
7. PROSPECTING MUST BE A LIFESTYLE
-every person you meet everyday is a potential prospect. prospects are literally everywhere.
